A Night to Remember

Excited foxettes from all over the UK and abroad descended on Jurys Hotel in Cardiff on Sunday 20th March for what turned out to be a really special night. The evening was hosted in style by Radio Presenter, Kevin Hughes, a good friend of James and a great supporter of our website. After an animated meet up in the bar which was followed by a lovely meal it was time for the star himself to perform for us. We were treated to a whole evening of outstanding music with James performing his own wonderful songs and a selection of Billy Joel numbers from the musical Movin Out. He was absolutely amazing and gave a stunning performance; he was relaxed and humorous especially during the Q&A session where his wit and charm really shone through. James was delighted to receive an early birthday present from all of the members on the website and was extremely touched. So too was his Mum, Tina, when she was given a beautiful set of framed photographs of James, she was overwhelmed and thanked everyone for their continued support. During the evening James presented prizes to the lucky winners of the competitions and raffles and he also proudly handed over a cheque for a staggering £865 to The Caerphilly Children's Centre charity being the proceeds raised from the raffle of The Pink Guitar that James kindly donated. James stayed until the early hours giving everyone the opportunity to have a chat on a personal level, what a guy. It was an especially moving occasion as James was leaving for New York later that week to make his debut in Broadway and the party gave us all the opportunity to personally wish him every success in America. What a wonderful celebration, a truly memorable night.
