Happy 1st Birthday everyone!

Hello everyone & a very happy first birthday to us all. What a truly wonderful year its been for the site. When I watched Fame Academy last year and got so incensed by the treatment James received, little did I think that we'’d now have such a successful site (well maybe that’s a little white lie - I hoped we would !). It seems a long time ago now but when I first saw James I was impressed by EVERYTHING! his musical ability, vocal talent, song writing skills, sense of humour and edible good looks (the whole damn caboodle). I’'d sit transfixed as he played his beloved Billy Joel songs on the piano and I'’d start ranting and raving when as per usual they'’d cut away in the middle of a brilliant rendition. I hate injustice and watching Fame Academy made my blood boil. It was clear there was a huge miscarriage of justice going on so I decided to set up this site on 17 August 2003 to do what I could (however small) to help James career. I suppose it was quite arrogant of me really to think that I could make a difference but by working together I hope we have shown the powers that be that we are actually a force to be reckoned with. The site's brought a lot of fans together and friendships have blossomed during the year, which has also given me a lot of pleasure. I've certainly got a lot of personal satisfaction from managing the site and learn't a lot about web development on the side! I hope you've all enjoyed the year as much as I have. The site is a great team effort which is why its still going from strength to strength. I won't list all the members who have made a huge contribution or this message will go on for ever but you know who you are and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support you've given me and James. Finally a special thanks to James & Hyperactive for supporting the site. Working together has been very rewarding and I hope our relationship will continue to develop and flourish. Its been a rollercoaster ride during the year with never a dull moment, the highlights of which have been Fame Academy, Making Your Mind Up, the Eurovision Song Contest & the release of James first single. Also who can forget our special Marlows and Bedford evenings and supporting James at various brilliant gigs around the country and abroad. Its been a magical time and the magic is going to continue. We have the excitement of seeing James perform in Jesus Christ Superstar as well as some other really big news to look forward to. So stick with us and you wont be disappointed. You certainly wont be disappointed with the new calendar that is being produced in celebration of the anniversary of the site, the shots are HOT.
